and it was with this in mind that Africa Travel Advisors came into existence more than 20 years ago with tours focused on the Black diaspora.

Although the majority of our destinations are to Africa (The Motherland), we also feature tours to South America, Australia, The Caribbean and The Orient. Each tour offers in depth exposure to the indigenous culture, including customs, habits and mores of the people in each of the countries we visit and how they relate to Africa both past and present. For example, in one of our travels to China, we were able to visit an area in Southern China where a group of people of African descent had once lived. In Europe, we visited the Black Madonna in Poland and palaces in the Canary islands where Hannibal and his troops ruled. In Southern Africa, we visited the sites where the first people on earth roamed. In the Caribbean, we visited Surinam where African habits and cultures have been better preserved than in most other parts of the world.
